A consignment note format needs package count, weight and goods descriptions that refer to the same shipment. Keep the goods’ declared worth separate from any freight amount, because the two describe different things. In a goods transport bill format, check consignor and consignee details carefully; similar business names can hide a reversed delivery direction. Retain the carrier’s issued documents and any required movement authorisation separately.
